Однолинейные узлы могут работать в нескольких режимах, отвечающих различной степени работоспособности. Дисциплина обслуживания заявок – LCFSPR. Время обслуживания заявки типа u, находящейся в l-м узле, имеет показательное распределение с параметром . Основным режимом работы обслуживающего прибора полагается режим 0. Переключение происходит только на соседние режимы, при этом число заявок в узле не изменяется.
