In article actual problems of influence of ergonomic parameters of the car and anthropometrical characteristics of the driver (operator) on traffic safety are considered. Classification and characteristics of types of a constitution on Shtef-ko-Ostrovsky is given. Depth of space of a workplace of the constitution taken by a body of the person depending on his anthropometrical characteristics is calculated than need of designing of vehicles taking into account anthropometrical characteristics of the person is in our opinion proved

Аннотация: в статье рассматриваются актуальные проблемы влияния эргономических параметров автомобиля и антропометрических характеристик водителя (оператора) на безопасность дорожного движения. Приведена классификация и характеристики типов телосложения по Штефко-Островского. Рассчитана глубина пространства рабочего места занимаемого телом человека в зависимости от его антропометрических характеристик телосложения чем на наш взгляд доказана необходимость конструирования транспортных средств с учетом антропометрических характеристик человека
