The article is devoted to the study of typical linguistic features of the songs of the German band Einshoch6. Song discourse is of interest to linguists, since a wide variety of genres, directions and performers allows us to identify new features and talk about the typicality of the means used in this particular research material. The choice of research material is due to the popularity of this group among young people. The study of the songs of this group allows us to understand what linguistic means the musicians use to attract their youth audience. The article describes the frequency linguistic features of the lyrics of the Einshoch6 group: metaphor, repetitions, youth slang, Anglicisms, the use of modal verbs, forms of Präteritum, the comparative degree of adverb and adjective.
