Abstract (English):
In this article modern environmental problems of the cities are considered. The short charac-teristic of a situation in the country concerning use of alternative fuel for transport is given. Produc-tion of biomethane is considered. It is established that, waste of agro-industrial complexes which need to be utilized, in itself are an essential energy resource as with different degree of efficiency receiving biogas almost from all types of agricultural waste is possible. Also in article of economy of use of biomethane on the example of a bus fleet of Belgorod. It is established that, use of bio-methane will be able to provide completely internal needs of production for the electric power and heat or will go for providing public transport with qualitative biofuel.
