The paper explores in detail the very essence of fledgling trends concerning the development of contents of the Federal State Educational Standard. It is stated, that setting up the new Standards should be considered as the first step only. Further the next step of the Standards implementation should follow, putting the demand to elaborate a set of regulatory documents. The principal educational program, the curriculum, the training outcomes requirements and etc. are to be further elaborated and clarified. These particularly relate to the senior high school, where subject-oriented education is stipulated.

К настоящему времени закончена почти восьмилетняя работа над новой версией Федеральных государственных стандартов общего среднего образования (ФГОС). Однако, строго говоря, сегодня мы можем сказать, что пока завершен только первый этап создания стандартов, т.к. впереди еще разработка целого ряда нормативных документов, обеспечивающих их введение в практику школьного образования.
Сейчас продолжается активное обсуждение содержания стандартов, высказываются серьезные замечания к их тексту, особенно для старшей школы. Все это говорит о том, что содержание школьных стандартов будет меняться и можно предположить, что эти изменения будут связаны с уточнением и конкретизацией его ключевых положений, касающихся основной образовательной программы, учебного плана, программ учебных предметов, требований к образовательным результатам.
