This article explores modern problems associated with the professional deformation of legal workers. It analyzes the main factors contributing to the formation of professional deformation in this area. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of corruption and corruptogenic factors as important aspects of the professional deformation of lawyers. The article also assesses the moral degradation of society as a factor influencing the professional deformation of legal workers. As a result, it is concluded that legal values are an integral part of the professional activities of lawyers. As a result of studying these problems, it becomes obvious that legal values are an integral part of the work of lawyers. Ethics, respect for the law and justice, and professional competence play a critical role in providing quality legal aid and restoring public confidence in the justice system.
