In the article the processes of strategic planning and forecasting of regional infrastructure are updated. The logic of the process of strategic planning and forecasting of infrastructural support of the regional economy, based on the relevant principles and procedures, shows the need for the implementation of certain techniques and methods of these processes. Under the techniques and methods of strategic planning processes and forecasting of infrastructure support in the region the author understands the complex and interrelated algorithmization of certain actions, their ordered collection and use of specific methods, techniques and tools to achieve certain goals of regional infrastructure development, in accordance with the tasks, problems, relevant issues and trends. The main methods and techniques of strategic planning and forecasting of regional infrastructure are presented, description and implementation mechanism are provided.
