In the 21st century, humanity has to contend with a number of global problems every day. One of the most critical is hunger. And therefore, one of the most important components of the social well-being of the population is timely and adequate food supply. The state and business devote considerable efforts to solving this problem, however, when they work separately, the consumption of resources greatly exceeds the level of efficiency.Hence, it becomes important to consider the interaction of the state and business in the implementation of the FoodNet STI, designed to create a powerful competitive agro-food industry based on digitalization, as well as new biotechnologies and production, logistics solutions. The article discusses new approaches to providing the population with environmentally friendly products , the possibilities of interaction between the state and business to solve this problem. This will have a positive impact on the social well-being of the population, which is so important in our time.
