The general questions raised at the beginning of the article are the relevant developments in the performance appraisal system in the field of nuclear industry and positive development’s tendencies in comparison with previously adopted concepts of the performance appraisal system. The article examines processes, which are currently in force in the nuclear industry. Furthermore, the requirements for workers «with the right to carry out qualification» are provided. The statistics of performance appraisal, which was collected since the inception of the performance appraisal system, is provided in this article. Moreover, there are considered types of professional qualification and methods of destructive and nondestructive testing assigned by relevance.
