Аннотация: Эти заметки – развернутый план выступления, посвященного моим личным воспоминаниям о Селиме Григорьевиче Крейне. Крейн не преподавал на нашем курсе, но сыграл заметную роль и в моей студенческой жизни и потом, когда я уже работал на факультете. Оказалось, что мы встречались гораздо чаще, чем я себе представлял, и наша совместная работа привела к практическим результатам, которые до сих пор используются в учебном процессе.
