The article discusses the problem of increasing resilience to crises and the ability to restore regional economic systems in the context of global instability due to the regionalization of education. Limitations have been identified: an imbalance of supply and demand in the labor market, insufficient financing, low commercialization of developments, migration of graduates. The key aspects of the study are the analysis of the concepts of "sustainability", "resilience", "region", "regional economic system"; the role of universities as drivers of regional development (capital generator, network architect, etc.); the mechanisms of education's influence on resilience: human capital, innovation, economic stimulation; an integrated approach to regionalization: clusters, digital platforms, business partnerships, government support; practical cases (Tatarstan, Novosibirsk and Tomsk regions) and key challenges. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the systematization of the theoretical apparatus of resistance, detailing the role of universities for the Russian Federation, proposing mechanisms to overcome challenges, assessing the effect of the strategy (reducing the economic recovery time by 30-40%, and the growth of the GRP innovation sector to 25-30%). Practical significance of the research: the results are applicable by government authorities, universities and enterprises to develop development programs, create clusters and partner projects, and strengthen the sustainability of regional economies.
