The article discusses the professional training of specialists in socio-cultural activities in the context of the development of modern digital technologies, involving the modernization of the digital infrastructure of educational institutions, updating software and hardware, updating curricula, motivating students to master modern digital technologies, the introduction of neural networks and virtual assistants in the educational process in cultural universities. The key provisions of the regulatory documents regulating the digital technology development strategy and the concept of digital transformation of science and higher education are outlined. The priority directions of using modern digital technologies in educational activities have been identified, contributing to the formation of digital competencies of students and expanding the arsenal of digital didactic tools. The article reveals the specifics of the functioning of the electronic information and educational environment in cultural universities, which provides access to curricula, educational and methodological complexes, work programs of disciplines, assessment funds, and state final certification programs. The possibilities of using modern digital technologies in the professional training of specialists in socio-cultural activities at cultural universities have been identified, contributing to the search and structuring of information, the preparation of reports, abstracts, presentations, term papers and final qualifying papers. The necessity of forming critical thinking and digital ethics among specialists in socio-cultural activities in the context of the introduction of digital technologies into the educational process is substantiated. The study highlights the relevance of using modern digital technologies in the professional training of specialists in socio-cultural activities in connection with the rapid development of the digital transformation of higher education in the field of culture.
