USING THE HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE OF IMPLEMENTING 
THE CONCEPT OF MANAGEMENT OF E. MAYO IN MODERN CONDITIONS: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

Abstract (English):
The challenges of overcoming the current global economic crisis of the 2020s naturally raise 
the question of using historical experience to solve similar problems. The purpose of the presented research is to study the historical experience of the formation and use of Elton Mayo's management doctrine of human relations in overcoming the global economic crisis of the 1920s in modern conditions. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the demonstration that the refocusing of management concepts on people during periods of overcoming global economic crises (as was done in Elton Mayo's human relations school), according to N. Kondratiev's long waves, should be considered from a specific historical perspective, understanding that it is people, as the primary productive force, who are capable of ensuring the growth of economic activity, including through 
the creation, implementation, and realization of new technologies within the evolving technological paradigm. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the fact that, given the high degree of similarity between the postulates of the psychology and human relations approach to management in the 1930s and the human capital-based approach to management that will dominate in the 2030s, we should expect the possibility of effectively utilizing the tenets of Elton Mayo's human relations school during this period.
