The results of tests of samples of clay loam on the effects of different modes of applying multiple shocks are presented. The influence of shock loading conditions on the deformability of the samples, their density and power consumption of upcompaction are assessed. Revealed that the highest density is typical for samples compacted at a linearly increasing load conditions, and the lowest – at constant load conditions.
