It is wellknown that at a longterm locomotive parking an air pressure in brake cylinders and control reservoirs because of available leakages drops gradually that results in brake exhaustion. It is a significant drawback in an indirectfunctioning automatic brake. In Bunin YSU at the level of an invention there was developed a promising design of a parking brake excluding such a drawback and a set of computations for the substantiation of its rational parameters to exclude a possibility of locomotive spontaneous motion was carried out.
