The article discusses topical issues related to the digitalization of higher education and society as a whole, as well as the formation of information and mathematical competence among students of pedagogical areas of higher education institutions. Special attention is paid to the structuring and composition of the electronic learning system, the specifics of its use in higher education institutions, as a complex management of electronic educational activities. On the basis of an electronic learning system for additional interactive support to the discipline, a scheme for creating an electronic training kit was developed, containing information and software, training and control blocks. Based on this, an electronic educational kit for the mathematical discipline was developed and tested, the elements of which will develop and form the information and mathematical competence of students of pedagogical areas of higher education institutions in the context of digital learning.
