В настоящей исследовательской работе предпринимается попытка репрезентации концепта «время» с использованием фреймового анализа, позволяющего выявить базовые сценарии и роли, связанные с этим понятием в русском, английском и ингушском языках. Целью исследования является определить семантическую структуру концепта «время», посредством его фреймовой организации и выявить как общие, так и дифференциальные характеристики в рамках сравнительно-типологического анализа трех неродственных языков и культур. Методологической основой работы служит когнитивная лингвистика, а именно теория фреймов, позволяющая интерпретировать концепт как ментальную структуру, состоящую из взаимосвязанных фреймовых признаков и сценариев их реализации. Лексико-семантический анализ выявил ключевые фреймы, формирующие представление о «времени» в речемышлении носителей номинативных и эргативного языков: лингвистическое время, физическое время, философское время и религиозно-сакральное время. Результаты исследования позволяют углубить понимание когнитивных механизмов репрезентации времени в русском, английском и ингушском языках и культурах. В частности, в статье презентована лингвокогнитивная модель фрейма «время» в рамках русского, английского и ингушского языков. Научная новизна представленной работы заключается в проведении первого комплексного фреймового анализа/исследования концепта «время» в трех языках с разной типологической принадлежностью (русском, английском и ингушском). Результаты исследования могут быть использованы/применены при разработке более эффективных стратегий перевода текстов, и/или для создания дополнительных теоретических моделей, объясняющих взаимосвязь между лингвистическими структурами и когнитивными схемами, а также для решения практических задач в области искусственного интеллекта и межкультурной коммуникации.
This research undertakes an attempt to represent the concept of “time” through frame analysis, enabling the identification of core scenarios and roles associated with this notion in Russian, English, and Ingush. The purpose of the study is to delineate the semantic structure of the concept “time” by examining its frame organization and to identify both shared and distinctive features within a comparative-typological analysis of these three unrelated languages and cultures. The methodological foundation of this work rests on cognitive linguistics, specifically frame semantics, which allows for the interpretation of the concept as a mental structure comprised of interconnected frame elements and scenarios of their realization. Lexicalsemantic analysis revealed key frames shaping the representation of “time” in the conceptualizations of speakers of nominative and ergative languages: linguistic time, physical time, philosophical time and religious-sacral time. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the cognitive mechanisms underlying the representation of time in Russian, English, and Ingush languages and cultures. Specifically, this paper presents a linguocognitive frame model of the concept “time” across these three linguistic systems. The scientific novelty of this study lies in the first comprehensive frame semantic analysis/investigation of the concept of “time” across three languages with distinct typological profiles: Russian, English, and Ingush The findings of this study have the potential to make a significant contribution to the development of more effective translation strategies and/or to the formulation of novel theoretical models elucidating the relationship between linguistic structures and cognitive schemas. Furthermore, these results may inform practical applications in artificial intelligence and cross-cultural communication.
