Abstract (English):
Abstract: The purpose of this article is to study the concept of "POWER" in the texts of Alexander Solzhenitsyn. As a result of the research, it was found that the concept of POWER occupies a special place in the writer's texts. It appears as an all–pervading force capable of corrupting even the most persistent, turning them into an instrument of oppression. A.I. Solzhenitsyn explores various aspects of POWER - from political to psychological, from camp to state. The writer reveals the influence of POWER on human consciousness, showing the deformation of moral principles and the substitution of value orientations. Summing up, the researcher comes to the conclusion that the concept of POWER is more often manifested as a negative, alienated and unfair phenomenon.
