In the context of rapid climate change and expanding industrialization of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, issues of rational nature management are becoming of paramount importance. The Arctic is a unique region where global environmental challenges such as accelerated melting of permafrost, loss of biodiversity, changes in the structure of ecosystems and depletion of natural resources require a special approach to management. Traditional methods of nature management are proving ineffective in the face of new threats, which emphasizes the need to introduce intelligent technologies.
